Suffering of kidney failure patients in Gaza has increased due to genocide war

The Gaza Strip has been under siege for years, with repeated military offensives worsening humanitarian conditions. Restrictions on medical aid have made healthcare access nearly impossible, leaving hospitals struggling to function. Despite international condemnation, attacks continue, causing mass civilian casualties and displacement.

Ahlulbayt News Agency: Israeli military attacks continue to devastate the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the suffering of civilians, particularly those with medical conditions such as kidney failure.

Patients requiring dialysis at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City face worsening conditions due to severe shortages of essential medicines and medical supplies. The ongoing blockade, which resumed on March 18, has prevented life-saving medical equipment from entering the enclave, placing countless lives at risk.

The death toll from the ongoing military campaign continues to rise. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of recorded casualties has reached 52,810 dead and 119,473 injured since October 7, 2023.

Since the resumption of attacks following the collapse of the ceasefire on March 18, an additional 2,701 Palestinians have been killed, while 7,432 others have been wounded.

Over the past 24 hours, 23 people have died and 124 others have been injured, with many more victims still trapped under rubble and unreachable by rescue teams.
